Apple and Samsung are the mobile technology companies. Apple is an American company which has a multinational technology whose headquarters are in one of the city that is Cupertino which is in California’s Silicon Valley. 

Apple was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronal Wayne and it was founded on April 1, 1976. Samsung is also a South Korean multinational corporation company whose headquarters are in the town of the Samsung. 

It consists of different associated businesses, most of them are united under the brand of the Samsung and it is the largest South Korean Chaebol. Samsung was founded by Lee - Buyung Chul on March 1, 1938. It had 4, 89,000 employees according to 2014 census report.  

PRICE 

In case of price with these two mobile sets, Samsung has a much more advantage in it. The inexpensive cost of iPhone X who has a 64GB will cost 999$ which is 1, 21,528 in Pakistani rupees. But its price varies from time to time. The price of S9 starts from 720$ which is 87,587 in Pakistani rupees.   

There are also the model which has 64GB but they are much dissimilar to iPhone X. Also by time to time, the price of both the smartphones varies. 

The price of iPhone X is 1,22,999 in Pkr and 1065 in dollars whereas of Samsung S9 is 91,000 in Pkr and 788 in dollars. So, in this case Samsung S9 will give you more advantage as compared to iPhone X.  

CAMERA 

  In iPhone X who has a vast angle with 12MP along with 12MP telephoto lens for preferable zoom in and zoom out and DSLR images. Secondly iPhone X has Depicting Lighting which allow us to play with different lighting options for portraits during or after we capture the shot. 

Whereas Samsung S9 let us to command the intensity of the blur while we are capturing the shot or after. As we can see the following difference between them. Both of the smartphones have exposure compensation, ISO and control. 

They have same image resolution i.e.4000^3000 pixels. IPhone X has Retina flash whereas Samsung S9 has LED flash. Both of them have Wi-Fi and mobile hotspot expects Wi-Fi Direct which is just in S9. They have Bluetooth and USB connection too. In this case Samsung S9 is again much more satisfying for us.  

HEADPHONE JACK 

Only Samsung S9 has headphone jack whereas iPhone X do not have it. In this case, Samsung S9 users will get more advantage whereas iPhone X users have to use Apple’s Lighting port headphones or they can also use the Bluetooth option too.  

SOFTWARE AND ECOSYSTEM 

In this case, apple is much friendlier with Google services whereas Samsung S9 is not. We can send audio and video from iPhone but not in all cases with iPhone apps to Chrome cast devices. So, in this case it depends upon the use of the customer.

DESIGNS

Both of the smartphones are water resistant and dust proof. The height of iPhone x is 143.6 mm and of Samsung S9 is 147.7 mm. The colors of iPhone X are silver, space grey and Samsung S9 is midnight black, coral blue and lilac purple.

iPhone X has mineral black glass case where as Samsung S9 has metal case. iPhone X is 7.7mm and Samsung S9 is 8.5mm in thickness. The width of iPhone X is 70.9 mm and of Samsung S9 is 68.7 mm. The weight of iPhone X is 174 grams and of Samsung S9 is 163 grams. 

Both of the mobiles are made up of glass on glass with frames made up of metal. Samsung S9 has bend edges and screens that occur to turn over the sides. 

The iPhone X comes in single chromatic Space that is gray and silver in color whereas Samsung S9 occurs in titanium gray, lilac purple, midnight black and coral blue. So, this also depends upon the user.  

SCREEN

In case of screen matter, Samsung S9 users will have more advantage because of its size and resolution but Samsung S9 color reference will also differ too. In display, iPhone X is OLED and Samsung S9 is super AMOLED. The aspect ratio of iPhone X is 18:9 and of Samsung S9 is 18:5:9. 

The pixel density of iPhone X is 463 ppi and of Samsung S9 is 568 ppi. iPhone X have protection glass and Samsung S9 have corning gorilla glass v5.The screen resolution of iPhone X is 1125^2436 pixels and of Samsung S9 is 1440^2960 pixels.  

SPEAKERS

In this case, both of the smartphones has stereo speaker configuration. iPhone X has stereo speakers which are on the bottom of the phone whereas Samsung S9 also has stereo speakers but they also allows us to adjust the audio profile from the settings.  

STORAGE

In case of storage in comparison of both the smartphones, Samsung is preferable to buy as it has 400GB of larger storage whereas iPhone X has 64GB and 256GB with no SD card. 

But this really doesn’t matter now because we can all the time attach the device and transfer the files, plus there is ample enough space in iPhone X that you won’t at least worry for a memory card for 6-8 months.   

BATTERY USAGE

In battery usage in these two smartphones, Samsung S9 has larger battery than iPhone. Both of the mobile phones has fast charging.  

Resale Value

The resale value of the cellphone really matters a lot as we are talking about the most expensive cellphones of the two separate companies. iPhone X resale value really counts and will cause you less loss as compared to S9’s resale.

So for those who cannot enjoy the first hand iPhone X, can prefer to buy used iPhone X which will be the same in quality but a bit lower in price. This benefit to buy used iPhone X can be specially availed by the students.
