The Persian prince calls on the West to change its approach to Iran

The exiled Persian prince Reza Koresh Ali Pahlavi spoke out strongly against Iran's attack on Israel. Pahlavi, whose father was the last shah before the Islamic revolution in 1979, became the regime's most prominent opponent.

"I think it's time for the world to make a final decision on the issue," Pahlavi said in an interview. Pahlavi claims that overthrowing Iran's Ayatollah regime is the only way to bring peace and stability to the region, but what is missing is a final decision by the West to commit to regime change.

Pahlavi claims that diplomacy with Iran has failed and that Western leaders are clinging to the futile hope that the regime will change its behavior. "Reconciliation has failed. Any continuation of the same thing is madness," Pahlavi said.

Pahlavi said harsh words about the Obama administration and Biden. "During the Trump administration the number of executions in Iran was half of the number today because this kind of leadership makes such regimes think twice before doing anything - whether it's at home or abroad," Pahlavi said.

"Fighting with proxies is no longer the solution. You have to go for the head of the octopus, and the head of the octopus is in Tehran," Pahlavi said. He emphasized that the Iranian people hold their destiny in their hands - but, the struggle will be much easier with the support of the West.
