The purpose of this trip was to journey into Iraq to document the plight of the Yazidi people who are currently exiled in large populations away from their homes and villages in refugee camps after fleeing for their lives from enslavement, genocide and torture at the hands of ISIS. The Yazidi practice the oldest monotheistic religion in the world. These Minute Monologues are just a taste of a much longer form project in the works. Please help us by sharing this video everywhere to help build awareness to the cause.

We hope you enjoy this series. Our intention is to inform the public of the urgent need for recognition from the Global Community. We hope this journey and series will make you laugh, cry, and ideally see the beauty of a people who have lost everything and been through the unimaginable, yet they maintain their dignity as they fight for their lost brothers and sisters and seek recognition by the United Nations for peace, protection and a safe return to their homes.
