Today I Made Blooming Steamed Sponge Cake

Who here has failed to make a fluffy steamed sponge cake like the one I made?

For those of you who have failed, try my recipe. I hope it works. Because the steamed sponge cake I made has the right measurements, it's easy to make because it doesn't use coconut milk, just soda water, and it's guaranteed to be delicious and soft as cotton. Okay, friends, first I add two whole eggs, granulated sugar, and flour.

A little vanilla, SP, and soda water. After all the ingredients are added, I continue mixing until the dough is thick and white.

The texture of the dough should be thick and white, like this, friends.

This is the key to success in making steamed sponge cake. Continue here so that no ingredients settle at the bottom of the dough. I stir until evenly mixed. Then here I take a small amount of dough and add food coloring.

You can use any food coloring, friends. Here I use pandan green food coloring and mix it with a little black forest paste.

And don't forget to stir until evenly mixed.

Next, here I have prepared a mold that I have lined with parchment paper.

Then pour in the batter to taste. Next, here I put the green food coloring on top like this.

And do this until finished. Once it's finished, it looks like this.

Then I steam it in a preheated steamer for approximately 10 minutes or until cooked over high heat.

After the steamed cake is in, I continue here and then cover and steam the cake until cooked. Okay, the steamed cake is done, and you can see for yourself that the steamed cake has all bloomed.

For those of you who are curious about the pandan paste I used, here I used this pandan paste from El Arum.
