Grill and smoke!

Been trying to perfect my work on the my pellet smoker. Here in Japan it’s not nearly as common to bbq and grill as much as we did in the states so, I feel fortunate to be able to do it at all. That said, my temperatures are still really inconsistent on the Traeger so I think after todays cook I’m going to try and adjust the P settings.

Salmon was amazing! Used fresh garden rosemary to really give it that nice aromatic feeling.

Prior to that I did 2 pork shoulders, a beef roast and a lamb shoulder which cane out amazingly. One of the proj shoulders I cooked sousvide for 9 hours before finishing off in the smoker for 3-4 hours. The texture was great and it defines disapeared fast.

My next step is growing all of my own vegetables and herbs until I can say everything was done in house from herbs and spices to the raising the animals whoch is the uktimate final goal some years down the road.

So well on my way, about 7-8 more planters to go which won’t get a full season until next year but I’ll definitely be ready and hopefully have some experience undermy belt at gardening!:) hope everyone enjoys!
