Ya, sorry it wasn't as thorough as it should have been. I've been very busy here and am having a hard time making time for a thorough post.

We were almost certain to make a trip to Japan in November, until the announcement of Steemfest3. And we are considering that and weighing the options now...
I think the latter would be more important. You can visit Japan anytime, but Steemfest only comes once a year. I probably won't be able to attend due to a new project.
