We are having girl's festival called "Hina Matsuri" in Japan!
This is the festival I really love and I am proud to share my Hina Dolls.
In Japan we have special day for girls and boys, today March 3rd is girls day, so we put up Hina dolls.
House with girl celebrate this lovely day with special meal, cakes and sweet sake.
We have special song for girl's festival too :)

My Hina dolls!

As you know a lot of japanese people lives in small house or apartment so nowadays store sells only Prince and Princess or with three ladies.

It is very rare to have whole set and display them in a house.

I use good camera to take my Hina dolls, so I will post many photos from here :)
I hope you like them!

Don't you think he looks cute?

Well it's ok~ we are all allowed to have fun and be festive ;)

Oh, I heard about this festival! It's such a beautiful tradition! Especially the Hina dolls caught my eye; they can be very high-priced, right? Thank's for sharing!

Oh you heard about the festival :)
My grand parents bought this set when I was born and they were over $1000 at that time, so yes they are pricey but so worth it :)

Yes, I did! I was watching a video of a blogger who is living in Japan; she was explaining the tradition of the festival & value of the Hina dolls. They are so pretty!

ah nice! nowadays we have so many ways to learn cultures :) technology~~~~~!
