Imperial Palace 皇居

It is a way from Tokyo Station to the Imperial Palace.

東京駅から皇居へ向かう道です。

There are swans in the moat.
It is hard to see but there are two in the middle.
It seems to be Swan bird raised, not wild bird.

堀には白鳥がいます。
見にくいですが真ん中に二羽います。
野鳥ではなく飼育されている白鳥だそうです。

Kikyo gate
It is an entrance to Higashi Gyoen
A policeman is standing and I can not enter from here.
If you are going to visit the Higashi Gyoen Park, please enter via Ote gate, Hirakawa gate, Kitahanebashi gate.
Entrance fee is free.
Higashi Gyoen used to be Edo Castle. Honmaru, Ninomaru, and Sannomaru site exist.
You can visit the castle tower mark of Edo castle.

桔梗門
東御苑への入り口となっていますが
警察官が立っていてこちらからは入れません。
東御苑を見学する場合は大手門・平川門・北桔橋門から入ってください。
入園料は無料です。
東御苑はかつて江戸城がありました。本丸・二の丸・三の丸跡地が存在します。
江戸城の天守閣跡が見学できます。

Sakashita gate
It leads to the Imperial Household Agency building.
