It is difficult to grow vegetables/野菜を育てるのって難しい

The fruit of tomato"Ririko" is starting to turn red.

トマト「凜々子」の実が赤く色づいてきました。

When they started making fruits, they became rot after one after another, and I thought I was failed. I am very glad that they grew up so far!

実をつけ始めたころは次々と尻腐れ（カルシウム不足により部分的に腐ってしまう状態）になってしまい、ダメかと思いましたが…。何とかここまで育ってくれました。

However, this tomato is exclusively for heated cooking. When I count them, there are only seven fruits that are red at the same time. Only seven medium-sized tomatoes  are not enough to make tomato sauce. They are not suitable for raw eating, so what shall I do....

I hoped to harvest a lot of tomatos and make the sauce, and freez them for the remainder. However, to be contrary to my expectations flowers do not bloom any more.It will be over soon.

ただ、このトマトは加熱調理専用なのです。

数えてみたところ、同時に赤くなっている実は7つしかありません。中玉サイズ7つでは、トマトソースを作るには足りません。生食には向かない品種とのことなので、どうしよう…。

大量に収穫してソースを作り、余った分は冷凍保存までするつもりでいたのですが、アテが外れてしまいました。もう花が咲かないので、今実っている分が赤くなったら終わりです。

Mini tomatoes could be harvested a lot. Flowers did not bloom here as well, as the leaves also withered, it ended.

ミニトマトはたくさん採れましたが、こちらも花が咲かなくなり、葉も枯れてきたので終了。

I also grow pumpkin. I do not get tired of watching crane.

ミニトマトに使っていた支柱を、今はカボチャに使っています。植物のツルって、見ていて飽きないですね。

Shiso and Basil are growing up very well.

幸い、シソとバジルはとても元気です。

I thought it was easy to grow tomatoes. But it was difficult for me who was a beginner at growing vegetables.

It may be a factor of failure that the pot is so small and the amount of soil was not enough. Next year I will try growing vegetables with larger containers.

トマトなら簡単そう、と思ってベランダ菜園を始めてたものの、初心者の私にはかなり難しく感じられました。

鉢が小さく、土の量が少なかったのが失敗の要因だと思います。来年はケチらずに、もっと大きなコンテナを使って栽培しようと思います！
