On January 15th was the teacher's day here in Venezuela. I am an English teacher and that day I celebrated 17 years of teaching this important foreign language.

My beginnings were in 2001 when I was still studying teaching at university. I started teaching English in elementary school and soon after I started teaching English in high school. I have had experience working with adults as well, which was an enriching experience.

Nowadays, I teach English in the high school of a public school in my country. It's a pity that teachers here do not have an excellent salary income, but for those who love this profession like me, wealth is in our hearts to see our students happy and motivated to continue forward looking to forge a good future.

Despite the adversities that we live in Venezuela, I am still one of the teachers of English that stays in my country. I love what I do and I feel that even my mission is in my country. I love my job and my mission is here.
Thanks for reading my post. Regards from Venezuela.
