Christians should of course be examples of holiness among sinful men.  We are His hands and feet on the earth after all.  Sadly when it comes to lying we seem to be just as bad as the world sometimes.  "Little white lies" are just as disgusting to God as the big ones.  Just don't do it.  It's better to simply keep your mouth shut.
