“WHAT shall we say then? SHALL WE CONTINUE IN SIN THAT GRACE MAY ABOUND?"
Romans 6:1 (NKJV)

Though law was given that man might know his true state, and to highlight God's righteousness, but that does not mean Man should continue in Sin. Apostle Paul expatiated this in Romans 3:5-8, in which some people slanderously misinterpreted the teaching, saying, Paul was teaching that, since human sin highlights God's righteousness, why would God had to judge or condemn those who are sinning.

The truth is Man's sinning highlights God's righteousness, but it does not mean Man should continue in the Sin. God wanted Man to come to Him and be reconciled to Him after he may have discovered his dirtiness, that Sin lurks in his or her body but had no power to overcome it, not to continue in the Sin.

The more the Sin, the more the Grace, however, this must not be misinterpreted to mean an increase in Sin in someone's life means an increase in the Grace. Grace much more abounds (Romans 5:20) means there is a sufficient Grace to contain, restrain or control, the spread or the increase of Sin.

Grace much more abounds does not mean believers should continue in Sin that the Grace might increase. No. After you have known the truth and pledged your allegiance to Christ Jesus, you should not continue in your old sinful ways of life.

The new life you claimed to have gotten should be seen in your life through a change of character. Peace.
