WHAT YOU NEED IS ON THE INSIDE OF YOU 1
9 BUT AS IT IS WRITTEN: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
10 BUT GOD HAS REVEALED THEM TO US THROUGH HIS SPIRIT. FOR THE SPIRIT SEARCHES ALL THINGS, YES, THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD.
11 FOR what man knows the things of a man except THE SPIRIT OF THE MAN WHICH IS IN HIM? EVEN SO NO ONE KNOWS THE THINGS OF GOD EXCEPT THE SPIRIT OF GOD."
1 Corinthians 2:9–11 (NKJV)
• It is what you are, what you have in you, that counts. In other words, It is the latent or undeveloped resource in your spirit, put there by God, that counts.
- Look over the untouched treasures that are stored away on the inside of you, which have never been touched or used.
- Bring up the potentials in you which are put there by God and make them worthwhile. To some extent, what would make you a success in life is already deposited in you by God. The things that make opportunities are on the inside of you.
- What God has deposited in you can take your dream and make blue print of it, then change the blue print into a building.
• The ability to do certain things well is given to every individual: "IN HIS GRACE, GOD HAS GIVEN US DIFFERENT GIFTS FOR DOING CERTAIN THINGS WELL" (Romans 12: NLT).
- However, you have a responsibility to train and develop that ability or giftedness that is latent on the inside of you—you stir it through training (2 Timothy 1:6).
- Through what you read in a book or the teaching you heard, you may be spurred to set the ability out, but the fire can be quenched If you refused to act or do something—thus, take a step now.
- Whatever the giftedness or ability God has deposited in you, you have the responsibility to develop it. The world is waiting for that treasure in you—that which you have (2 Timothy 1:6).
- God deposited it in you for the blessings of mankind. You have to trade with the giftedness or the ability given you by God—He wants you to make profit with it (Matthew 25:27; Luke 19:12-23).
• At the new birth—when you are reborn, a relationship is established with God.
- If the relationship is nutured, It would grow into fellowship or communion with Him; then, in the process of time, you discover the purpose or the plan of He, God, has for your life.
- The reading, studying, and pondering or meditating on the Word of God makes your mind sound, and you are able to know what God has deposited in you.
- Sin blinds the mind. A sinner would hardly know God's plans for his or her life (1 Corinthians 2:14-16).
a. The Word of God gives light (Psalm 119:130).
b. Your eyes of understanding are enlightened through the knowledge of the Word of God (Ephesians 1:17,18). - Some claimed to be born-again but still live like unbelievers, because they do not pay attention to the Word of God—that their minds may be renewed and their thinking changed and their persons be transformed (Romans 12:2).
- Note:
a. What makes or set free is the Word of God (John 8:32).
b. What enlightened the mind is the Word of God and prayer (Ephesians 1:18; James 1:21). The word of God is the water that cleanses and sanctifies (Ephesians 5:26).
c. Through the Word of God, by the enlightening of the Holy Spirit, God's purpose is revealed and discovered. - This enlightenment or understanding makes being born-again different from being religious or being a nominal Christian. Believers are not called to practice a religion, but having a relationship and fellowship with God.
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- And, should there be any ailment in your body, I declare your deliverance and total healing now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Peace!
