You are correct that a large influx of users will greatly increase returns but In the short time (this month) I have owned SteemPower (even with the recent correction) I have over 30% in unrealized gains. This is one of the Cryptos that I truly believe in and think will continue to grow so I will continue to invest in it and to me this is a long play as it will take time to to grow legs.
