Wisdom of Solomon: I shall be found keen in judgment, and in the sight of rulers I shall be admired. Wisdom 8:11

The Book of Wisdom, attributed to King Solomon, is a book dedicated to the study of the divine science. In its first part, it discusses an exhortation to seek wisdom and justice, and to explain the destiny of the righteous and the sinners. But then in its second part begins a long monologue where Solomon explains how he obtained wisdom from God, its importance for all the rulers of the earth, and what wisdom brought to him, as a blessing from on high.
And among the teachings he left in his monologue, one stands out related to something known throughout the entire world, as the "Solomonic judgment," with these words: "I shall be found keen in judgment, and in the sight of rulers I shall be admired" Wisdom 8:11.
King Solomon, with this spiritual teaching, was probably referring to the case he had as king and judge when judging two prostitutes who were disputing the motherhood of a child. Because of this, the entire nation of Israel acknowledged that God bestowed His wonderful gifts upon Solomon, and all the kings recognized his sovereignty while he reigned; it could then be stated, without making a serious mistake, that everyone recognized that the Kingdom of God was realized in Israel with Solomon. This famous case, resolved by this wise King, is recounted in great detail in 1 Kings 3:16-28.
But to understand this spiritual truth, we need to go back to a previous event, Solomon had a dream in the holy place of Gibeon, where he encountered God, and he asked the Almighty for a heart that knew how to listen. In response, God gave him a heart full of wisdom. And it was the sacred listening that comes from wisdom that this famous king used to resolve this famous dispute between the prostitutes. Solomon correctly resolved this dispute between women by finding the true mother, inspired by God. This case is known to Bible scholars as one of the few instances of sacred listening or exact justice. With this resolution, Solomon demonstrated his keen insight to detect deception and find the truth in a difficult situation, and thus, with the wisdom received from God, Solomon found his destiny, and wrote this valuable teaching in his book, implying that true justice comes from the wisdom that God grants.
