Juice Challenge Day 1

Hey guys!

So today I start a new challenge for the month of October. I am challenging myself to focus on what I consume and put in my body. In the past I use to make delicious, healthy drinks quite frequently. I have decided to make up a juice everyday this month, and plan to continue.

I would like to share with you my journey for this month. In addition I am cutting out all beer and alcohol while I do this challenge. I would like to see how all this effects my energy and health.

I will be sharing this journey with Steemit community to inspire other to eat and drink healthy foods, and also to keep myself accountable on this challenge that I am giving myself.

Making different juices is a lot of fun. There are all sorts of combinations of produce that you can mix up to create different types of drinks.

Day 1 vlog


Today drink is:

  • carrot
  • pear
  • ginger

This drink is sweet with a nice little zing from the ginger.

I currently get more than 50% of my calories from fruit smoothies and I don't drink alcohol. I hope this can inspire you too. I know it help me.

One of the best juice is raw orange juice. I think it's almost unbeatable.

That is super awesome man!
Alcohol can be such a waste of money. I really want to minimize alcohol in my life or even cut it out completely.
I do feel like drinking the juices allows my body to not crave it as much.
When I use to work construction, I worked out of town most of the week. The routine for the guys was to go back to the hotel and drink...I don't know how we drank so much and then woke up so early to work all day long. Crazyness.

MMmm raw orange juice is awesome, for sure!! I'll definitely be getting down on that ;)

Hey acromott check out my 7 day Orange protocol blog post. You could easily incorporate it into your juice challenge and give feedback. You eat 1 orange or more 3 x per day every 3-4 hours for 7 days for the so called Law of triplication. The nutrients you eat stay in your bloodstream for 3-4 hours. For more details check out my post.

super post @acromott specialy your video i liked alot. I am also crazy to drink fresh juices. Juices are vital for our healthylife. so It must be taken in our daily life.
Please share that should we peel of every fruit before making juice?
