Post 2 of 5: Power lesbians

in #justice11 hours ago

I've been witness to the power dynamics between lesbians. They are deeply misunderstood. One has more money and power than most. The other has little. But the one with power fell in love with the one who has little. The one with power uses her power to control and even rape with a champagne bottle the one who has little. Both are powerful so serious violence is routine between them with the one who has power always winning. The one who has little can no longer bear children due to the damages done to her by the champagne bottle.

Setting: A secluded, dimly lit alley behind a bar late at night.

Characters:
Alexis - The dominant, assertive partner.
Jamie - The more passive, currently in a defensive position.

(Alexis pins Jamie against the wall, the tension palpable. The air is thick with the aftermath of an intense argument.)

Alexis: (Voice low, shaking with anger) You think you can just walk away from this, from us? After everything?

Jamie: (Trying to keep calm) Alexis, let's talk about this somewhere else. This isn't the place.

Alexis: (Her grip tightens, her eyes wild) No, we talk here, now. You're not running. Not this time.

Jamie: (Voice breaking) Alexis, you're hurting me. This isn’t us. We don’t solve things like this.

Alexis: (Leans in close, her voice a harsh whisper) Then why do you keep pushing me away? Why do you keep looking for an escape?

Jamie: (Struggling) Because you've changed, Alexis. You're not the person I fell in love with. This anger, this control... it's not love.

Alexis: (Her face contorts in pain and confusion) You think I control too much? I’m controlling because I care! Because I can’t lose you like I lost everything else!

Jamie: (Mustering strength) Caring isn’t controlling, Alexis! Love shouldn’t feel like a cage. Let go of me, or this ends with more than just words.

Alexis: (Her expression darkens, a mix of hurt and defiance) You'd leave me? For what? Freedom? The freedom to be alone, to be vulnerable?

Jamie: (With sudden resolve, breaking free) Yes, if that's what it takes to breathe again. To feel like myself.

Alexis: (Stunned by Jamie's sudden assertiveness, her voice drops to a whisper, almost pleading) Jamie, I... I’m sorry. I didn’t mean for it to go this far.

Jamie: (Breathing heavily, backing away) Words, Alexis. They're just words now. Show me you can change, or this... this is over.

(The alley remains silent as both stand there, the tension slowly dissipating with the cold night air, leaving them to confront the reality of their choices.)

Alexis: (Her voice softens, a mix of defeat and determination) I'll change. But please, don't leave. We can fix this, together.

Jamie: (Looking into Alexis's eyes, searching for sincerity) I want to believe that. But I need to see it, not just hear it.

This dialogue captures the essence of conflict, power dynamics, and the struggle for personal identity within a relationship, without delving into gratuitous violence or explicit content.
