RE: The Shrimp Plant - "Throw a shrimp on the Barbie , Mate"

in #justicia7 years ago

Not sure if this kind of shrimps would do so well on the barbie, mate!
Sydney is a beautiful city, I took a ferry to the Northern Suburbs a couple of times when I was there. I love Australia: Great cities, amazing nature and so many great people interested in travelling.

My Steemit mate @donnymurph is actually from Sydney too and he writes some amazing travel blogs, check them out if you get a chance, for example this one! As you see, he and so many fellow travel bloggers on Steemit are having a hard time getting upvotes for their amazing posts; many are giving up and leaving Steemit because it seems pointless to get 0.50$ and 10 views on a post you spent hours working on.

This is why @adonisabril (professional photographer and travel blogger), @for91days (author, photographer and professional travel blogger for more than 7 years), @rimicane (Steemit photographer and travel blogger) and I have created @travelfeed that will launch shortly. @travelfeed will upvote the very best travel posts each day and do a daily round-up to feature the very best travel posts. @photofeed is already doing the same for photography and has attracted many great photographers to Steemit; with @travelfeed we hope to achieve the same for travel blogs. To do that, we need your support!

Basically, you have to options to support @travelfeed, and both cost you nothing but a few clicks once and will help to support amazing travel bloggers on Steemit:
1.) Following our voting tail: You automatically upvote every post that @travelfeed upvotes. A fantastic way if you want your account to promote your account by appearing as the top-voter and earn some free Steem curation rewards every day.
2.) Delegating SP: You still own your Steem and of course don't give out your key, but you give us the permission to use your powered-up Steem to vote with your Steem Power until you undelegate it. A great way if you want to stay anonymous.

All us travellers on Steemit will be really happy for your support!
You are welcome to join our Discord server if you would like some more information on @travelfeed! https://discord.gg/jWWu73H

Hey, thanks for your comment. Yes you are right, people come and go from Steemit . I do feel bad about those who spend a lot of time on a post and don't get rewarded. I have been there too when i first started, although i admit my posts were ordinary so i did'nt deserve much for them, and i was a newbie at the time. I view the Steemit platform as similar to running a business, in a way. If you have great product, eventually people will appreciate and come. You just have to be patient. Now, also understand what may be a great post to some might not be other's cup of tea. Speaking for myself ,I have a life outside Steemit, a hell of a lot to do other than posting here. So my preferred posts are ones that i can read quickly, and get more or less instant satisfaction. I don't rate the long, rambly posts, unless it's something i am passionate about, because i simply don't have time to read them. Anyway, i have built up a little following myself here, and I try to give back with upvotes, and i dare say they are appreciated. I am sure that many people notice my SP Balance and want me to do this and do that with it. Regarding this, i will say that in time i will decide to do more about this and i will consider if i can use it more effectively. In the meantime i shall do what i have always done with any of my investments, and that is protect it, and look after it. Cheers !!

While the flower looks really beautiful, but the catch of this post is your "beautiful reply" and when you this, you have spoken your heart and I think you are a nice gentleman from Australia. My respect for you.

Thank you...steem on and stay blissful...

Thanks Buddy !!

Thanks for your reply!
You certainly have a good point when you say that Steemit is like running a business. Persistence really pays off; I am quite happy with the growth my Steemit account has seen in the past weeks. I just feel like some Steemians produce really great content, but they don't have what it takes to run a business, so they never make it on Steemit. They are the ones we hope to support them with our @travelfeed initiative to keep their motivation up and to achieve more high-quality content for Steemit which will benefit everyone who is invested in Steemit.
I can understand your decision, but when the time comes when you consider using your SP, keep us in mind!

Will do, thanks.
