Why not KeyChain Steemit?
What an epic fail! Steemit.com decides to change the access to your steem wallet and does not even give its customers a warning of instructions of what info they will need for the change before it happens. Couple that with the fact that several crypto coins are rising but steem is actually falling and I think it has a little ti do with the way things are rolled out on this blockchain. Lucky for me I have all the important keys saved and the changes did not affect me that much but I imagine there are currently lots of people locked out of the wallet and are panicked. The wallet click through which takes you to another site was VERY suspicious at first glance and with crypto security such an important topic you would think @ned would do a much better job of rolling this out. I dont know how you guys feel about the Key Chain plug in but it works great in my opinion and it solves a lot of common and simple issues people have when learning how to use crypto.
I really wish we could access both the Steemit.com platform and the wallet with the Key Chain feature. Just my 2 cents.

I was a little confused at first moment as well but now it works quite good.
But!!!
I can really understand the many users who are disappointed, especially the newer users.
I don't know, is Steemit unable to act with the view of the users?
They make decisions what it makes more difficult for new users to understand how Steemit works.
Thanks God we have #Partiko now, an app what everyone can understand very fast, I recommend every new user Partiko now, everyone is satisfied.
For mass adoption we need it EASY!!!

It was also annoying having to figure out I had to re-enter my keys when transferring funds... they truly could of done all this much more gracefully
Dude slow down you need to give them 1-2 years to enact any changes...

I agree. The new wallet feature needs to be in alpha for a year and then in beta for 2 years. Let them work. STEEM to the Moon 2027

I'm somewhat confused why they moved the wallet to a different domain, after a couple of hours of use I find it rather annoying to be redirected to another website often with difficulties to quickly get back. I wish they kept the option to have the wallet in Steemit itself. I had the brave browser installed for a while but have not yet made the switch. I'll likely do that now after this new adds update.
Yeah I’m pretty sure everybody except for a select few really don’t like this update.

Keychain is great. Steemit's choice not to use it or even allow us the choice is strange.
Also, their wallet change is confusing. Luckily I have all my keys remembered, too.
I like how you posted this from Partiko instead of Steemit
. I use Brave browser to hide from Steemit adverts and will be using a wallet on another site that has keychain now that theirs is inconvenient.

I've been using Brave for anything on Steemit or that is ad intensive, while still trying to use Firefox for the rest since, that's what I've been using for most things. I'm not thrilled with it, but it's better than having all the ads everywhere. I hope this 'experiment' of theirs doesn't last very long. :)
Hi sir if you can create a video on steem keychain and how to use it . Because most of new people are not aware about it and they don't know how to use it. Where to download it . And what should do with it . Show with computer screen how exactly download and use it .

They seem to drop the ball on a regular basis. All is good for me but I can imagine that there are quite a few unhappy members!
YEs there are lot users who not know whats go happen just now... but this info was long time up that they start to this. And also we long user must also shere it and say whats up here.
And when I look this new thing then this steemit.com and steemitwallet.com work very good. Just you need know that when you go in wallet you are on other pages. And all codes work same like all time.
Totally agree, and this isn't the first time they rolled out a new feature/change by basically locking everyone out. There is an option to display/download your keys, it pops up when you try to log in with the wrong key. Which leads to another problem and security risk:
The .pdf file includes your Master Password.
There is no 2FA.
So, just about anyone logging into your Steemit with a cached or auto-filled password can dl your master key without going through the usual second check.
Huge fail.
