The former prime minister Khaleda, who was abducted from Nazimuddin Road in Old Dhaka on Feb 8 after the verdict of the Anti-Corruption Commission, has been sentenced to five years in jail.

He got bail by appealing in the High Court against the verdict of the judge. But the Appellate Division suspended it because it stops.

The 73-year-old politician will get bail if he is running - depending on the hearing and the appeal division's decision.
