شعراز خیام

ای بس که نباشیم و جهان خواهد بود
نی نام زما و نی‌نشان خواهد بود

زین پیش نبودیم و نبد هیچ خلل
زین پس چو نباشیم همان خواهد بود

poem by khayyam:

it is enough that we were not, but the universe would still be.
neither would our name be nor would there be a remnant of us.

before we were there was no prejudice
and after that we are not it would be the same.
