Lake Diamond

Diamond Lake is located on the left bank of Kiev in the Troeshina massif of the Desnyanskiy district. The reservoir is the largest of those located within the city and is incredibly picturesque, despite the negative influence of the metropolis.

Lake Diamond has an impressive size. It starts from CHPP-6 and ends in the area of ​​Kraynaya street. Differs in a diverse relief with sharp drops and anomalous points. In some places, the depth of the reservoir reaches a 30-meter mark.

The bottom structure is predominantly sandy, in places silty. A strip of algae grows along the shore, the bottom in the middle of the reservoir is clean. There are approaches to the water along the entire perimeter. On one side there is a pine forest, on the other - the " Almaz" plant, an industrial zone and garages.

Lake, fishing on it and rest, are popular all year. In the summer, companies gather here on the shore of the reservoir, swim, sunbathe and fish. With a cold snap, the pond becomes more spacious, so spinningists like to come here.
