The head of the museum sector, Elham Salah, said that all the artifacts chosen for the exhibition are the result of excavation works in Sohag Governorate.
Salah explained that the ground floor of the museum includes six exhibition halls. The first hall presents information about kings and dignitaries. Each showcase shows how the ruling king has been the center of the country for thousands of years. This is reflected by repeating the name of the ruler or king not only on his own symmetry Or its temple or tomb, but it also appears on other artifacts belonging to the personalities who held many public positions in the state. It also shows that the ruler of ancient Egypt had many functions inside and outside the state. He is the ruler and commander of the army. This is shown by displaying some artifacts representing the tools of war, in addition to presenting some pieces of figures who occupied important positions in the state.
Salah went on to say that Egyptian civilization has witnessed many innovations such as the idea of the "product card", which was known thousands of years ago. The exhibition hall consists of a collection of these energies, cards made of ivory and chronicles the names of kings, as well as clay seals on which the name of the product was placed and the history of its industry.
Speaking about the second exhibition hall, Salah said that the museum show highlights the Egyptian and Upper Egypt families in particular. It explains the role of Egyptian women in the family and their importance, and how she cared about her family, children and herself.
She added that the third exhibition hall, highlighting the interest of the ancient Egyptian health, it displays the tools of ancient Egyptian, and how he could store or dry food to remain full of different types.
