적십자 다음으로 오랫동안 후원을 이어오고 있는 곳은 대학교입니다.
제 모교인데요.
특별히 지인이 있거나 하진 않지만 대학생활이 참 마음에 들었기 때문에 후원을 시작했습니다.
사실 고등학생 때까지는 공부를 썩 잘하는 학생이 아니었어요.
그런데 대학교에 들어갔는데 전공이 잘 맞기도 하고 재미도 있어서 학점이 상당히 잘 나왔습니다.
졸업할 때는 학부 3등이라는 믿을 수 없는 결과를 얻기도 하고요. ㅎㅎ
덕분에 먹고 살만한 회사에 들어와 지낼 수 있게 되어서 감사히 생각하고 있습니다.
마찬가지로 후원 금액은 미미하지만 15년 동안 후원을 해오고 있다는 사실에 보람을 느낍니다.
학교가 잘 운영되고 능력있는 선후배님이 많이 나와서 저 좀 끌어주셨으면 좋겠네요. ㅎㅎㅎ
