Salad-ppang 샐러드빵

Today I'd like to introduce you to this salad sandwich. It's the perfect after-school snack or light lunch. This is an innovative idea of using potato salad as the filling of the sandwich. I suppose there was left over salad and so they put it in a sandwich? I'm not sure. It's not very common to see this in America tbh. Americans usually like ham and cheese or tuna sandwiches. But I can tell you for sure, these are really delicious indeed.

In Korean, these delicious buns stuffed with potato salad prepared in the Korean tradition are known as "salad-ppang." When my kids were younger, I used to make them, especially if they were studying late at night in their rooms. When they were little, I really liked this food because it could be prepared in advance so when they got home from school, and they'd be hungry and then they could chow down on them.
