Okay , so I have to be really honest here.
I don't really like Chinese food per se. Plain and simple. It's not my cup of tea when it comes to choosing something for dinner anyway.

But this is part of the 30 day challenge , and so i've decided to choose an Americanized Chinese food called Mongolian Beef.

I looked up for research and the question was, is "Peking Mongolian Beef" real Chinese food?
And, the answer that the AI google gave me was ...

"Yes, "Peking Mongolian Beef" is considered a popular American Chinese food dish, not authentically Mongolian or traditional Peking (Beijing) cuisine; it originated from Taiwanese adaptations of "Mongolian Barbecue" in the 1950s and became famous in the U.S., blending Chinese cooking techniques with a Westernized, sweet-savory sauce. While it uses Chinese ingredients (soy, ginger, garlic) and stir-fry methods, the name "Mongolian" was used to sound exotic, and it's a staple in American Chinese restaurants, not found in actual Mongolia or traditional Chinese cooking." 🤔

So, wait.....this dish is fake Chinese food? What the...?
It's Taiwanese? You mean, all this time???
It was named Mongolian to be "exotic"??!!
Golly. All this time , I thought it was real.... hehe~
It's good, though.

Hmmm, fusion food, i guess.

Have a nice day.

PS
한국식 짜장면 is good, but again, this is fusion food, i think.
