Happy Birthday, Benjamin

생일축하해, 벤지야~

Well, today is Benji's birthday.
He was born 14 years ago through C section.
It was a really hard time for me because I was stuck in the hospital for 10 days eating seaweed soup and had no family or friends to come see me and or take care of me. It was snowing outside when he was born. I think this was probably the best day I had in my life...to see my baby boy all bundled up nice and cozy.
He was quiet and had a sense of humor. Time passes by so fast. I can't believe it's already been 14 years.

오늘은 벤지의 생일이에요. (12월19일)
벤지는 14년 전 제왕절개로 태어났어요.
그때는 정말 힘든 시간이었어요. 병원에 10일 동안 갇혀서 미역국만 먹어야 했고, 저는 외국인이라서 저를 보러 오거나 돌봐줄 가족이나 친구도 없었거든요. 벤지가 태어날 때는 밖에 엄청 추웠고 눈 내리고 있었어요. 제 생각엔 그날이 제 인생에서 가장 행복했던 날이었던 것 같아요... 포근하게 싸인 우리 아들을 보는 그 순간이요. 벤지는 조용하면서도 유머 감각이 있었어요. 시간이 정말 빨리 가네요. 벌써 14년이라니 믿기지 않아요.

New Avatar Movie

We went to watch a movie.
It was a really long movie. It was like 3 hours long! We watched it in 3D. It was good, but it could have been better. Mister Producer, can you make us a shorter movie next time? Thank you~

우리는 영화 보러 갔어요.
정말 긴 영화였어요. 3시간이나 걸렸어요! 3D로 봤기 때문에 재미있었어요. 아바타가 좋긴 했지만, 내용이 별로 없었고 더 좋았으면 좋겠다는 생각 밖에 안 들어요, 사실은요.
