Snow

It snowed all day today. It's amazing how quickly everything has changed in nature. Until recently, it was sunny September outside and people were enjoying the last autumn warmth, walking through golden parks and squares. September was followed by a cold, rainy October. But even then it seemed that winter was still very far away. And then November suddenly brought with it the first frosts. And today, white flakes have been falling from the sky all day.

Contrary to all expectations, they did not melt in the air, but lay down in an even layer on the frozen ground, hiding black mud, fallen leaves and grass that had not yet turned yellow. It was a real winter snow, although it is not yet winter on the calendar.

But the calendar was invented by people, and nature does not always want to take their opinion into account. She has the right to do as she wants, so winter this year seems to have come a little earlier than usual.

The fallen snow transformed and colored the boring autumn world, bringing a little magic into people's lives. Looking at the whitened streets and the fluffy dresses of the trees sparkling in the sun, I involuntarily began to count the days remaining until the New Year, thinking about fun feasts and gifts.

And the white flakes continued to swirl in the air. Children returning from school caught them on their gloves, jumped and ran through the graying glades. Everyone was glad for the first real snow and hurried the arrival of winter, wanting to quickly enjoy the power of its amazing charms.
