The sun is no longer visible. The sun is feathery and blinding from above. Clouds float like snowy mountains in the blue-blue sky. The spring breeze smelled of fresh greenery and bird nests.

Large buds were blooming on the poplars in front of the house, and chickens were moaning on the lawn. In the garden, grass sprouted from the warmed earth, green shells appeared from rotting leaves, and the entire meadow was strewn with white and yellow stars. Birds flew into the garden every day. Blackbirds were good walkers, running between tree trunks. The oriole was a large green bird with a golden yellow belly under its wings.

As the sun rose, starlings woke up on roofs and in nests, puffing, whistling and singing in different voices, as well as nightingales, larks and African birds, which can be heard over the sea in winter. A woodpecker in a gray scarf flew through the transparent birches, sat down on the trunk, turned around and raised a red tuft.

And on Sunday, on a sunny morning, on the shore of the pond, among the trees on which the dew had not yet dried, a cuckoo sang;

• Live, love, be happy, cuckoo. Live, love, be happy, cuckoo.

The whole garden was quietly listening to the cuckoo. Ladybugs, birds, frogs, some on the path, others on the balcony steps, lay on their stomachs, scared of everything. When the cuckoo sang, the whole garden whistled even more cheerfully and rustled the leaves ........ The dumfries whistled with their honey voices, as if they were playing a melody with water. The windows were open, the room smelled of grass and freshness, and the sun's rays shaded the wet leaves. The wind was blowing, and dew drops were falling on the windowsill. ...... It was so nice to wake up, listen to the birds whistling and look out the window at the wet leaves.
