Tulips

The history of the tulip began about a thousand years ago. Later, it came to Europe from Persia and Turkey, and it was in these countries that it began to be grown in flower beds. For the first time, tulips were bred in Holland, and then they spread all over the world. Now this flower can be seen in any flower garden, as well as in parks and squares in spring.

It is very easy to grow a tulip. You need to buy a tulip bulb in the garden center, plant it in August or September in a flower garden, pour water on it, and in spring in April or May a beautiful flower will bloom. Tulips do not have a pleasant smell, but there are a lot of different varieties.

The tulip is the most common spring flower. There are tulips of red, yellow, pink, white, even almost black, the tulip flower can be simple and terry, there are even parrot tulips, whose petals are mottled and cut like the feathers of parrots. But most often you can find ordinary red tulips in gardens.
