Yesterday, when the Uma Oya project was handed over to the public, some people read the name of Sulochana and the name of Sulochana frequently, but those two did not catch their eye because they left the work site and went to other jobs.
However, after being able to get in touch with the person who has moved to Kurunegala area, we were able to know the true story of naming the two turbines.

Today, the names of two girls who made tea for the two turbines in Uma Oya were spread on social media and in the news. It was a big lie and it caused humiliation for both of us. Worked amicably with the engineers, worked with utmost dedication and dedication in the tunnel and in the office.
As time went by, the engineers and officials of that country said that we should put both of our names on the two turbines and told us not to joke. We are the only two women who used to work here. It is a dream to put our name on such a huge project being carried out by a foreign country. Talked about, in some cases, some engineers said that while the turbine was being hacked, they also told a story of putting the names of the women who were working nearby, but it was just a joke to us.
Oh, one day they actually put both of our names on the turbines and showed us. At that time, our legs trembled and we felt like Kalandah. We couldn't imagine. Our dream came true. We had the greatest happiness in life. Actually, I and Sulochana did the job we were given honestly and to the best of our ability. We worked inside a tunnel with all the strength we had in our hearts, the people of that country even put our names in the Turbaim for our dedication, but yesterday our people did not even give us the opportunity to go there, that means no invitation.
We really wanted to go on the opening day, but we missed it, maybe that's how our country is.
It was in the year 2016 that I went to Rukia and we both worked continuously for six years. In 2022, I stopped working for a year because a stream of water that flowed through the tunnel did not stop. There is no news about sister Sulochana.
However, I felt very happy when Uma Oya was opened today, she said.

I worked in the turbine part of the Uma Oya project in 2017. The engineers there said that we would put the two turbines in two different names. We thought it was funny.
