Earlier on Sunday around three o'clock in the night, the accused in both the cases were arrested from Taher Islam's house in Madhujidi area of Ward No. 7 of Lama Upazila of Chittagong's Bandarban district.
According to Hatia police sources, the victim's father filed a rape case against the accused Shimul on September 19 as the plaintiff. The accused was absconding since the case. Her mother filed a case of abduction at the Hatia police station against the other accused after a class ninth student of A Gani Balika High School was forcibly abducted last Thursday (February 15).
Hatia Police Station OC Md. Jisan Ahmed said, using technology, the accused were arrested with the cooperation of Lama Police and local people. Later, they were brought to Hatia police station and handed over to the court and sent to jail.

The speakers said in their speech that Rafi Noor Sports Academy is a non-political organization. Through this, the main goal of this organization is to present all the sportsmen and players at the world court.
After the discussion meeting, the program ended with Rafi Noor Sports Academy's office inauguration and preeti bhoj.
Upazila level national primary education medal competition was held throughout the day on Monday. Upazila Parishad Chairman Md. Mahbub Morshed Liton hoisted the national flag as the chief guest and the sports flag was hoisted by Upazila Education Officer Md. A. Jabbar.
Later this competition was held in 54 events among the 227 primary school unions of the upazila and the first place contestants of the municipality. Chief guest Upazila Parishad Chairman Md. Mahbub Morshed Liton distributed prizes among the winners. Upazila Education Officer Md. Jabbar, Assistant Upazila Education Officer Md. Akbar Hossain and others spoke. Under the hilsa resource development and management project, bakana calves are distributed among selected fishermen from among the registered marginal fishermen under the initiative of Hatia Upazila Fisheries Department to create alternative employment for fishermen in the financial year 2023-24.
On Tuesday (February 20) afternoon in front of the Upazila's Fisheries Building, the distribution program of the bakna calf was held among the 16 selected fishermen.
Under the chairmanship of Upazila Fisheries Officer Md. Saju Ahmed, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Md. Kefayet Ullah was the chief guest, Upazila Executive Officer Md. Golam Sarwar, Upazila Agriculture Officer Abdul Bached Sabuj, Hatia Press Club President Krishna Chandra Majumdar and others were special guests.
Upazila Fisheries Officer Md. Saju Ahmed said that the government distributed these materials so that unemployed fishermen can earn money through alternative employment during the ban on fishing.
