In Mandari Union of Lakshipur Sadar Upazila, under the Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) under the Ministry of Electricity and Mineral Resources, the preliminary ground breaking work of one lakh thirty two thousand KV high capacity National Grid was inaugurated.

On last Thursday (22-07-2021) at 11.00 am, the preliminary soil filling work was inaugurated by the renowned contractor Mithila Engineering, Mandari Union Chairman Mizanur Rahim, Chandraganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge AK Fazulul Haque, Bangakhan Union Chairman Anwar Hossain Kajal, Shakchar. Union Chairman Tipu Chaudhu, Chandraganj Union Former Chairman Sabbir Ahme.

Lakshipur Jubo League leader Mizan Patwari, Lakshipur Krishak League leader Mizan Bhuiyan, local Awami League leader Abdur Rahman and many others were also present.

The theft took place in broad daylight at 5.21 am on Friday, the day after Eid, at Joksin Paschim Bazar of Laxmipur Sadar Upazila.
Today on 23-07-2021, 7 drums filled with soybean oil were stolen from Abu Sayed store in Joksin West Bazaar. The market value of which is about one lakh twenty three thousand four hundred taka. Charera stole oil from Abu Sayed store and escaped. It can be seen in the CCTV camera of the shop next door.
Abu Chayed of Chayed Store said that the shop was closed on the day of Eid, he came to the shop at 6.00am the next day after Eid and saw that there was no drum full of oil.
Abdul Azim Shakil, president of the A-e Abiya Market Committee, said that the owner of the Chayed store told me about the theft, and the thief could not be identified in the CCTV footage. He also said three night guards are on duty in the market, till 5.15 am. CCTV footage At 5.22 minutes, the theft took place after the night guard left.
Traders in the market told Daily Lakshipur Sangbad that when Eid comes, there are thefts in the market. Three shops were stolen last Eid. The thief has been detected. A case has been filed. The thieves got bail. Shopkeepers feel that theft in the market should be stopped.

The needy in Lakshmipur got food items through Central Jubo League ration cards

In the lockdown announced by the government to prevent epidemic corona infection, the unemployed, helpless and needy got food items through the ration cards of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League.

Last Thursday (July 22) at the initiative of Advocate Shaukat Hayat, executive member of Bangladesh Central Jubo League, these ration cards and food items were distributed in his own village.

Bangladesh Awami Jubo League executive member Engineer Muktar Hossain Chowdhury Kamal was present at this time.

Jubo League leader Shaukat Hayat told daily Lakshipur Sangbad that on the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh Awami Jubo League chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parsh and General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil called on the central Jubo League to distribute food items through these ration cards to the unemployed and helpless during the ongoing lockdown.
