Mourning meeting held in memory of volunteer Raju Mourning meeting and prayers were held in memory of talented student leader Noor A Mawla Raju (24), president of Govt. Mujib College Chhatra League of Companyganj Upazila of Noakhali and founder and current president of voluntary organization "We For You".
On Thursday (January 20) at 4 pm, under the direction of We For You general secretary Ibrahim Sayem and vice-president Saiful Islam, the founder director of Markazuttakwa Madrasah, Hafez Mao Afsar Uddin, conducted a prayer at the organization's head office.
Belayet Hossain Belal, president of SAARC Human Rights Companyganj upazila, was present as the chief guest at the memorial and mourning meeting. He said Noor-e Maola Raju was a student leader with a clean image. Besides, his greatest identity was that he was a voluntary humanitarian leader. He also said that Raju's thousands of memories of this organization, made of flesh and blood, are mixed in every hole. Human rights leader Belayet Hossain Belal humbly requested the organization's successors to preserve these memories with care.
Himel Ahmed, the vice-president of the organization and the overall supervisor of Raju's hospital, said, "From taking Raju to the hospital to bringing him home, I was fully responsible. I used to scold him a lot for no reason in the hospital. I could not apologize to him even from this close. I don't know if he will forgive me, Raju's closest friend Himel Ahmed asked for forgiveness and prayers from everyone on his behalf. Vice President of the organization Saiful Islam said, Raju had many dreams about this organization. Raju established a school for the destitute street children. Our biggest responsibility will be to implement the dreams left by Raju. Saiful Islam, vice president of the organization, made a humble request to the mosque authorities to organize prayers for Raju in all the mosques of Companyganj on Friday.

It is to be noted that Noor-A Mawla Raju died of brain stroke at 4:30 pm on Saturday after 129 days of treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University due to kidney damage. Later on Sunday at 11 o'clock at Madhya Charkankra High School grounds, he was buried in the family cemetery after his funeral.
