Where were you five years ago?
Five years ago on this day my friends and I went on a trip. At at the time it was our tradition to go on a one-day road trip at the beginning of every spring.
The weather was not the warmest to go to the seaside, so we decided to head to the Lake Bled. It was a wonderful destination and not that far from our homes.
Did you see the church in the photo above? It is not visible from this perspective, but it is actually on a separate island. You can see it here.
In five years since this trip, I moved to Canada, one of us moved to the Netherlands, one to Dubai and one to Germany. The rest of them are still in Slovenia so they are able to visit Bled more often and they are in charge of sending the rest of us photos and make us want to visit home.
We are having a cloudy day here in Edmonton and I am not so eager to go out. No trips for me today.

For me five years ago was not that much more beautiful. I have been enjoying every year since then and each one surprised me in a good way.
