Green! Tuesday! Trees! Rain! Fernweh! Back2Bali For A Minute!

in #landscapephotography7 years ago (edited)

February should be erased from the calendar!

I’m getting a bit annoyed with the cold “City Grey” these days, so I am sharing some “GREENS” for your and my eyes!

Winter in Europe lasts way too long for me and I am sad that I couldn’t leave for Mexico, Cancun with my Niece, as planned.

That’s why I am sitting here with “Mick Jagger” in my shuffle, looking at some photos before I go to sleep deep, covering up and hiding until noon.

”We can’t always get what we want” - Rolling Stones Album in my ears, dreaming a little bit of the rice fields, bananas on trees, Kakao and Coffee Plantages and a green paradise.

Have a good night!

Ah... The highlights of Bali... Enjoy the greens!

Don’t you feel me on that one hahha!
Nice to have you back
Let’s go on a ride down to the beach again and find some action in boring Snur hahaha!
Europe is cool but I wouldn’t mind for a few weeks with some “Greens” for my eyes

haha, city grey! Try white! It is snowing right now. I am not impressed and would also sooner be there now where it is warm. A few years ago (January 2013) some of my artist friends went to Bali for a workshop. I was asked to come along. I procrastinated until too late - after I saw the pictures they came back with, I kicked myself!
I lived and worked (mostly outdoors) in Canada for 40 + years, and experienced the worse kind of Winter weather. But somehow since coming back to Austria, I started to wimp out, can't stand the cold anymore!

You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometime you find
You get what you need

Hahhaa! I just wanted to post a “red&white” day today #steemit-austria indeed....Viva 🇦🇹!!

not there yet - still listening to the "Hausmeister" shoveling the walks in the yard. I am going to the studio now. The rent is cheap, but so is the landlord with the heat. Have to wear a touque and scarf while doing my artwork.

My flat hat Fernwärme und bei mir ist es wie in den Tropen hahha . BaliOhBali in Brigittenau! Stay warm! Don’t freeze your bootie!

Missed the atmosphere like this @mammasitta hopefully you reach traveling to a tropical country and hopefully in your place quickly passes winter. this photo in the unspoiled rice fields of Acehnese farmers, Indonesia.

awwwwww......yes that view I miss right now, even though I love Vienna but winter needs to finish. I am waiting for the wonderful spring air.

I really liked the banana trees. If anyone hasn't tried eating the flowers of banana tree(on the fifth photo) , try sometime. It's one of the beautiful dishes I ever ate.

Such a lush landscape... I hope to get to Bali one day. All of southeast Asia, actually...

Great share for a cold, gray winter day!

ahhh... as much as I'm enjoying Canada, those tropical greens do bring back some great feelings... :-)

I know I know ....I also love Vienna but I wouldn’t mind to cruise down to our beach hang out right now.

Just for a nice afternoon!

you are enjoying Canada? From where? Sitting next to a fireplace, lol? I lived in Western Canada for 40 + years working outdoors, and there is no way I go back now - enjoying my retirement (of sorts, being busier now than ever) in Austria!

Green my favorite color, for me green makes me be connected with nature, gives us a feeling of comfort and relaxation..

Great shoot love you @mammasitta wher are you from??

I am from the moon to the Mars and back again :)
💃

I love winters actually. But sometimes I also get frustrated from it.
Beautiful pics.

I also like winter but it just takes too long already.
I just wish to shorten it next year and I will.

Vivid pictures with green images speaks more of nature than words can.
Someone once said "Photography is frozen poetry"

I love this images. They speak to me.
