Introducing me en spanglish :)

Hi!

Mi nombre es Marysol. Sí, con y griega :)
I'm currently 22 and I'm a fourth year Geophysical Engineering student at Simón Bolívar University, Caracas, Venezuela.
I'm from Puerto La Cruz, en el oriente del país, I happen to enjoy the sea and the sun very much, but that's just a coincidence with my name.

En Caracas, I live with 5 other girls and share room (and bathroom) with one, since I started college, it's what we call "la resi", it's our home for the 6 of us, and for any other -residenciado-, you know your mates are your family.
I was very much of a nerd when I started because I didn't wanted to lose the opportunity to be at college, studying away from home was tough at the beginning, this means I didn't do the things I wanted to do or enjoy any other activities apart from the academics, but little by little I changed that.

Amo mi universidad y ser académica, estudiar en un lugar que me gusta, disfrutar la carrera que estudio, disfruto de aprender. Siempre estaré agradecida con la vida por darme esa oportunidad. Cuando entré en carrera, me dejé de la excusa de no tener tiempo, me di el chance de liberarme un poco, retomé mi raqueta de tenis, empecé a hacer más ejercicio, y en general, busqué la manera de equilibrar lo académico con muchas otras actividades extracurriculares que forman también parte de la experiencia universitaria y que agradezco, pues, me hicieron mejor estudiante.

I retook tennis and I do that once every time I can, going out with friends to the beach or anywhere, I enjoy mountaineering and recently discovered it as passion of mine, I'm very much into languages (used to take french and I also teach english to kids whenever I can), I'm a sucker for films, singing, music, photography, books and the occasional (whenever I need to) writing. I also have a thing for writing whether in english or spanish, en el idioma que me parezca más espontáneo al momento, cause' sometimes spanish doesn't seem right to explain some stuff, sometimes the same happens with english. I know, it's weird.

I got introduced to this community by a friend of mine, who told me to give it a shot, even though I have none experience in blogging, explaining or writing what I've been through...I mean posting it. But, I'm willing to give it a shot.
My intention is to tell some adventures or cool fun experiences of mine. Between my lines you might see that I value knowledge, the occasional laughter and seek for fulfillment.
