An actual volcano opened up in my backyard.

When everyone heard the explosion as the ground cracked open simultaneously with a nerve-wracking earthquake and lava went flying high they literally ran for their life leaving behind everything they thought was important. I stayed behind to face the monster with my camera. I'll never forget the emotions I had watching my neighborhood burn & rescuing pets along the way. It's been two years now and these memories of mine are so unreal it seems like a dream. I often wake up at night having dreamt of lava in my closet.
