I am Muhammad Ahmad, and I hope you all are fine and enjoying your lives. Today, I will participate in the First week of the Engagement Teaching Challenge, which our Dear instructor, Dear. @anasuleidy, organized. First, I would like to thank him for organizing such a great lecture. By the way, in this Lecture, we are going to learn about law. Like What is Law? So without wasting any time, let's get into it.
Say in your own words and based on what was explained in class: What is law? |

Law is a type of system in which some rules are created to help people for peaceful and fair lives. Basically, it tells us what we can do and what we can do and helps protect our rights while ensuring we respect the rights of others. Actually, the Law is very important because it brings order to society, helps in solving conflicts and it also helps people to live equally and safely.
Considering the explanations given in class, according to the law and the laws of your country, I pointed out two examples of "Objective Law" and two examples of "Subjective Law". |

As I have to write everything according to my country and my country name is Pakistan so here according to my country Objective Law are those Laws that are compulsory for everyone to obey this law.
Traffic Laws:
In Pakistan when you are driving the seatbelt must be worn by the driver. So now this is the Objective law.Tax Laws:
According to the Pakistan Tax Law everyone should pay the Tax if they are earning particular money. This means this is also a mandatory rule so it means that this is also Objective Law.
According to Pakistan **Subjective Laws are laws that are not implemented by every citizen but they can be enjoyed in a sense according to subjective law, in our culture, we have to wear a Pardon when there is a marriage in our village but this law in not internationally registered in Pakistan but it is obeyed due to our culture. I am also providing some more examples which will enhance your understanding.
Wearing Shalwar Kameez:
In Pakistan, we have to wear shalwar Kameez as a cloth in our village as it is not mandatory but we wear it due to our culture which simply means that this is a Subjective Law in Pakistan.Giving Respect
In Pakistan, we give respect to elders from the ethical and religious point of view.This law is not registered in the Law of Pakistan but we obey it in Pakistan, so this is a subjective Law.
A citizen is driving a vehicle on the road and disregards the traffic light. Seconds later he is stopped by a traffic police officer and this citizen claims that he disregarded the traffic light because he was in a hurry to pick up his son and take him to the hospital because he is feeling unwell. |

As I have mentioned upper in this post about the Traffic rule, if there is a red light the Driver should obey the rule and should have to stop the car on the spot.If he have any emergency or anything so according to the Law of Pakistan he has to obey the rule of the Traffic and this is Objective Law. If the driver did not obey this rule then he would be punished according to the Law of Pakistan.
The driver who wants to secure the health of their child is the Subjective Law so this rule is not mandatory/compulsory as we discussed it upper. So if this Driver breaks the Objective rule then there is no punishment for this driver because according to Article 9 in Paksitan, ensures this right. Thus to secure the life of their child they did not stop the car.

According to Pakistan, Law is a set of rules which are made by the Government of Pakistan that ensures peace fairness, and equality in society. In simple words, these rules taught the citizens what they can do and what they couldn't do. In this situation, if a person breaks any law he/she would be punished according to the Constitution of Pakistan.
In Pakistan, According to the Motor Vehicles Ordinance it is compulsory to wear a helmet while riding a motorcycle if somewhat a person does not wear one while riding a Bike they he will be punished according to the Law of Pakistan.
According to Pakistan, Norms are that rules are unwritten but obeying these rules is also very important because if somewhat anyone does not obey norms that may lead to social pressure. Also, there is no Law according to the constitution of Pakistan while breaking any norm. Norms (rules) are based on culture, tradition, religion ,etc.
In Pakistan, it is the Norm that when someone comes to the room then we should stand and say Assalam-O-Alaikum, if someone not do this then he will be criticized.
Mr. Juan Perez rents an apartment but his financial situation is getting worse and he has not paid for 3 months. On one occasion, a meeting of apartment owners was held and the owner of the apartment where Mr. Juan Perez lives brought the case to the attention of the owners of the other apartments. They took the opportunity to say that they have received complaints from the neighbors of the building because Mr. Juan Perez has 4 dogs as pets in his apartment, something that is prohibited in the building's rules of coexistence."> |

In my view, Mr. Juan Parez is violating the Objective Law because he has not paid the rent for over three months. In Pakistan, there are legal agreements regarding Paying taxes. In this case, as he is not paying the rent, he is violating the law, and he would be punished according to the 1973 Constitution of Pakistan. The owner of that land has the right to take some strict legal action against the tender who has not paid the rent for several months because he wants to recover the unpaid money.
In my view, Mr Juan Parez is violating the Norm because he kept 4 dogs which is not illegal according to the Law but keeping 4 dogs is not allowed to be kept because of his neighbours. As we know this is not legal but keeping care of the neighbors he should not keep pets (dogs) in apartments. This means that he has violated the Norm by keeping 4 dogs in the apartment which is creating disturbance/ trouble for the neighbors.

Comparative Law:
- Comparative Law means the study of the legal systems of different countries. It deals with the comparison of the Laws of two countries, similarities, and differences between thee laws of both countries.
