Leap year
A leap year is a year that has 366 days instead of the usual 365.
The extra day is February 29.
👉 Why do we have leap years?
Earth takes about 365.242 days to orbit the Sun.
To keep our calendar aligned with the seasons, we add one extra day every 4 years.
👉 Leap year rules
A year is a leap year if:
1. Divisible by 4
2. But NOT divisible by 100, unless
