As was mentioned before, the guitar loves itself an E chord. This next seven chord is the E7 and it is as enjoyable to play as the other two iterations you have learned.

It is exactly the same finger position as the E Major with the addition of your fourth finger on the second string making it a seventh chord.

Practice getting your fingers into position. Lift your fingers off and on the guitar in the E7 position and then practice lifting your fourth finger off and on while strumming going from E to E7. Progress into practicing the E7 along with some of the other chords you have learned.

At this point you should be pretty comfortable with playing most chords. Do your best to not look at what you are doing. Let your fingers find their way to the chords while you look straight ahead. Every beginner looks at the neck but eventually you’ll need to let that muscle memory take over and feel your way around the guitar intuitively. This may be difficult to do but it is extremely important that you train yourself to not look at the guitar, particularly your left hand. Trust me, you’ll be glad you took the training wheels off once you have mastered this. Besides, you want to be able to look your loved one in the eyes while you serenade them with the sweet sounds of your guitar.
