I make my own clothes including my shoes. These are a pair of work shoes. I do this for Biblical reasons (Lev 19:19). They are made from 100% leather and are also good for grounding/earthing.

I use a few different tools to make them. A leather punch, an awl, a large needle, leather cutting sissors, binder clips and a small pair of pliers. In the picture is also the tooled leather I use for the soles and the leather string to bind it all together with.
I do a double layer of leather and it takes me about 24 hours to do one pair.
