Esta es una historia real y sucedió hoy Jueves 29 de diciembre en Ciudad Bolívar, en mi casa.

Hoy unos vecinos vinieron hasta mi casa con una caja de cervezas (vacía), me pareció extraño y me acerqué a averiguar... Sucede que un pequeño gato recién nacido quedó atrapado dentro del laberinto que se forma en esa estructura de plástico duro, quedó atrapado de tal forma que no podía moverse y no era fácil sacarlo de allí ya que con el mínimo movimiento podía morir el pequeño gatito.

This is a true story and it happened today, Thursday, December 29, in Ciudad Bolívar, at my house.

Today some neighbors came to my house with a case of beer (empty), it seemed strange to me and I went to find out... It happens that a small newborn cat was trapped inside the maze that is formed in that hard plastic structure, it was left trapped in such a way that he could not move and it was not easy to get him out of there since with the slightest movement the little kitten could die.

En esta situación lo trajeron, no tenía espacio para moverse y se veía notablemente agotado, tenía ya varias horas sin comer.

In this situation they brought him, he had no space to move and he looked remarkably exhausted, he had already gone several hours without eating.

No hay espacio para maniobrar, además, el cuello y las patas del gato son muy frágiles, fácilmente podía lastimarlo así que con ayuda de mi hermana me puse manos a la obra.

There is no room to maneuver, in addition, the cat's neck and legs are very fragile, it could easily hurt it so with the help of my sister I got to work.

La estrategia - The strategy

Al principio intenté con una pinza de cortar cables para intentar cortar el plástico pero es muy resistente y se hizo difícil, además que intentando cortar se movía mucho el plástico y había riesgo de lastimar al gato.

At first I tried with a cable cutter to try to cut the plastic but it is very resistant and it became difficult, also trying to cut the plastic moved a lot and there was a risk of hurting the cat.

Luego se me ocurrió usar algo de calor para derretir el plastico, busqué una pieza de metal que calenté lo suficiente para cortar varias partes del plástico más fácilmente y tratando de no lastimar al gatico, con esto logré hacer el espacio suficiente para trabajar en el rescate y sacar al gatito.

Then it occurred to me to use some heat to melt the plastic, I looked for a piece of metal that I heated enough to cut several parts of the plastic more easily and trying not to hurt the kitten, with this I managed to make enough space to work on the rescue and take out the kitten.

De esta forma pude maniobrar delicadamente hasta separar un poco las piezas de plástico y con mucha paciencia sacar al gatito sin lastimarlo, un proceso que tomó unos 2 minutos y no tuvo complicaciones.

In this way, I was able to delicately maneuver until the plastic pieces were separated a little and with great patience, remove the kitten without hurting it, a process that took about 2 minutes and had no complications.

Apenas logramos sacar al gatito, se lo entregué a las personas que lo trajeron y les expliqué detalladamente algunos cuidados que deben tener mientras esperamos que mañana lo vea el médico veterinario, me dió la impresión que el gatito tiene alguna malformación en las patas ya que se sentía muy duro y con poca movilidad.

As soon as we managed to get the kitten out, I handed it over to the people who brought it and I explained in detail some of the care they should take while we wait for the veterinarian to see it tomorrow. It gave me the impression that the kitten has some malformation in its legs since it I felt very hard and with little mobility.

En esta oportunidad solo necesitamos pensar por unos segundos con la mente calmada y encontraremos la solución correcta, no debemos entrar en pánico, en esta ocasión fue rescatando a un animal, no sabemos si algún día nos toque rescatar a una persona y hay que estar preparados.

El estado del gatito es reservado, creo que tiene un difícil camino de recuperación y adaptación, esperemos que mejore.

On this occasion we only need to think for a few seconds with a calm mind and we will find the correct solution, we should not panic, this time it was rescuing an animal, we do not know if one day we will have to rescue a person and we must be prepared .

The kitten's condition is reserved, I think it has a difficult path of recovery and adaptation, let's hope it improves.

Mientras me activo nuevamente en steemit estaré publicando ocasionalmente en mi blog, quizás a modo de desahogo, pronto estaré nuevamente en algunas de las comunidades con las que me siento identificado. 😋
