I've only hear about them in recent years when they are used on people who have had limbs detached/reattached. The leeches suck out the bad blood and help the limb get new, healthy blood. I haven't heard about using leeches in dentistry. What country are you in?

That's surprising to me. I would expect something like this in China or one of the.... hmmm how do you say it... one of the "oriental" Asian countries. Apologies to any Asians reading this, I don't know the correct term for that group of countries.

I get it. Yes it very much helps. This is the 3rd time I have done it.
I wonder if they do it here because I have a bad tooth that affects the gums around it.

Yeah probably. But a normal dentist wouldn't offer it I doubt as they are cheap as chips. You would need an alternative dentist etc.
