Don't Tread on Me T-Shirt

The Gadsden Flag, also known as the Don't Tread on Me Flag is an iconic part of American History. The flag is named after Christopher Gadsden, an American General during the Revolutionary War.

A symbol for resisting tyranny, the iconic snake and line "Don't Tread on Me" has survived antiquity, and is even still highly popular in today's liberty movement from Anarcho-Capitalists to Tea Party Conservatives.

The sentiment of Don't Tread on Me is a powerful, individualist expression against those who would attack our sovereignty. As free people, autonomy is our goal, freedom is our yearning desire. No matter the form of oppression, whether it is socialists or statists of any ilk, we intend to preserve our Liberty.

As such, we do not believe it is ever justified to initiate violence or harm against other sovereign individuals. We believe in peace and happiness. We believe in fellowship and friendship. The media tries to depict us as radicals as if the insignia of our independence were somehow relics of destruction.

No, we wear our gadsden flag today not to fight, but to protect, to defend, to keep the tree of liberty thriving. We want to hold on to that rebellious spirit that leads to mankind's liberation. I will always wear my Don't Tread on Me T-Shirt to harness that memory of the true American Spirit that will never be held down by politics or parties.

Alas, the virtue of Don't Tread on Me will never be tainted, and never be corrupted. Individual Liberty, Individual Responsibility, Individual Freedom will one day be paramount in the hearts of man once again!
