The Biggest Lie You Still Believe
Let me tell you a story and I want you to rejoice if you admit it, if at least once in your life you have experienced the same thing or you can know someone, not you, someone else, to do so.
Until recently I was standing in an apartment that was positioned at a fairly large distance from the park. I had to take the bus 5-6 stations or walk some kilometers to get there.
I did not agree. I was doing 30 minutes, so every time I was thinking about running, I was just thinking.
And then, in my heart, I told myself what if I had an apartment near the park.
And the story began to unfold before my eyes.
I imagined waking up in the morning, meditating, making a fresh one, then going down the block and going to the park that was a stone's throw away from me.
I was still fooling myself and I was very naive in this story.
I say naive because for a few months I moved to a fixed apartment near the park. And when I say I fix it I mean that you get out of the block, go for two minutes and then fix it in the center of the park.
But what happened then?
Did I choose every day? Did I live the active life I proposed? Was I the way I imagined how I would be when I did not have the apartment near the park?
Not.
Because if x, then y is the biggest story people say, which I constantly tell myself, but it never goes to reality.
Tell me if you recognize yourself in the following affairs:
When I have more money I will travel more.
When I have my business I will have more money and I will be happier.
When I get my car I'm going to be the best, I'm gonna be very happy and I'm gonna go all over the country and the world with my car.
When I get a certain amount of money, all my problems will instantly disappear and I'll be happy mega and I'll be able to buy what I want and life will be pink, pink and the whole world, your lips have taste what she was saying in the song.
When I have a girlfriend or a girlfriend I'll be fulfilled.
When I get to Paris, I'll understand what happiness really means.
When I finish my faculty I can do what I want with my life.
I still need a diploma, after the master I will be the best in my area and I will make a lot of money.
All the above statements fall into the category if x then y, which is the biggest lie in which we all believe or believe in our lives.
How do we break the chain?
The chain must be broken so that we can open ourselves and become what we really want in our hearts.
And to be able to become what we can become, we need to break all these myths and lies that we believe in so much strength.
The chain breaks very simply, in fact, there are two variants.
First version. In which you fall in the trap if x then y and you begin to choose through life to have xs to be able to feel y. And after a lot of fatigue, work, stress, lost years, you'll realize it's just a capa. It's just a x that you have done to get into a y that is now in a future you can reach if you obsessively and blindly follow another X of your life.
The second option. It is to look at past experiences and realize that today we can stop suffering and we can have y today.
Well, maybe not today, you could say, because I do not have a $ 3500 salary instead of $ 2,000.
Believe me, when you have $ 3500, you'll want $ 5000, then $ 10,000 and then $ 20,000. There is nothing wrong in wanting more, in evolving, what is wrong is to attach your happiness and the state in which you want to be an event that should only result if you do certain things.
"That event, sentiment, can be now.
And it is your mission to discover it and then to it."
And if you manage to do this constantly, then tell me how. Because I see it more as a permanent adjustment and evolution that never ends, hence the beauty of life.
Whenever you fall in the trap if x then you will get so many times you get up and move on.
