i believe in the eternal soul and i believe in a beings right to choose. i believe in some cases suicide is a gift, an opportunity to escape this hell that may seem like heaven for some but for most of the 7 billion people on the planet, everyday is a struggle just to exist which IMO is no reason to exist at all. I am one of the fortunate few born in one of the "first world" countries, the united states, but as my country leeches its wealth and comfort from the blood and sweat of the rest of the planet i can't help thinking just telling people to be positive and let go is enough. if you want people to live then you must give them a reason to. too often we misdirect our efforts to try and change things that are only symptoms of a much bigger much more complex issue and that is the ongoing oppression of those less fortunate in there place of birth by those more fortunate in there place of birth
Yes I do agree that there are times when life seems like an endless struggle but is ending life a solution. In some extreme cases I do understand where one absolutely has no hope to get out of the situation and with no other choices takes the decision. Its very sad, my heart cries out for all of them, but my advise to people is give a thought when you are on the verge of this if there is any ray of light which can help them out.
