I feel like there's an invisible hand that lead us into this direction. And now they are dangling meats in front of our faces turning us into obedient dogs.

I have the same feeling about this ever since it started. It's all orchestrated to the last detail, and I tell you, they didn't do a great job with it. It feels like they done it on the run because it's too obvious and the catalyst is a threat that isn't actually such a big threat.
