What I've learned from boarding school

Ok i've been a boarding school student for two years and, I've realized a few things that will help me in life after high school. even though this is directed towards boarding school most of these things will apply to public or even most private schools, and i have to admit a public high school would have been a lot more intensive than a boarding school.

ok so first off not everyone will want to be your friend no matter how hard you try. although this may seem obvious this will be a great lesson for anyone with future roommates or college kids. for example just because your friends hang out with someone does not mean they want to hang out with you as well. Everyone has different interests which brings me on to my next topic. don't live life to impress others if you are trying to be someone your not it will eventually show. you will find more real friends acting like you really are and forming your own opinions. next there is putting up with the people you have to and not the ones you don't. what i mean by that is lets say you have a roommate, i have learned from experiance not to try and be best friends with them you only have to be civil with each other. although if you are able to be friends with one another do it just don't be on top of them 24/7 that will just cause unneeded arguments that will make both of you look life a fool. Last but not least people will be jerks, if someone is not willing to have someone like you in there life they do not deseve you thereare many fish in the sea.

i know most of this is common sense i wanted to share what i learned before i graduate on Thursday.
