Personal Guidance System

There is a man I know who calls his intuition a personal guidance system. He says that it guides him and he has spent a a lot of years learning to let go of control and be guided by his intuition.

His name is Bill Bennett. He is a remarkable man; a highly talented creative man.



This is his story, it is a pivotal event that happened in 1999.
Bill is a movie director and he was driving in New Orleans very early one morning to get to the airport on time. He says that he was going fairly fast and as he was nearing traffic lights a voice in his head told him to slow down. Bill did what many others would do, ignored the voice. But the voice was insistently telling him to slow down. At the last moment Bill put his foot on the brake and as he did a big lorry raced the red lights narrowly missing him.

This incident rocked the socks of Bill and he wanted to know what this voice was. He said that at this time he was not religious or spiritual. Bill recalled that he had no interest in that kind of stuff. So he did what he naturally does, he started researching. He found that what he heard was his intuition. Because he is a very busy man with film making, writing and photography he kept this whole scenario inside him. Eventually Bill decided that he needed to share with the world this amazing experience. He wanted to make a movie on intuition because that is what he has been doing for over 30 years.

The first thing he wanted to do was to learn live by his intuition that he had termed his personal guidance system. So he went walking on The Camino without booking accommodation for each night. He started a blog to document his journey and ever since then he has been learning more and more to listen, trust and follow is intuition.
